While we haven’t seen a Manband performance in the past, we’ve definitely heard about them. In fact, I don’t think we’ve ever attended a show at the Kalk Bay Theatre without at least hearing their name whispered. So, when we learned that Manband 3 was hitting the stage, there was no question: attendance was mandatory!
Having heard the whispers, the references, and the shouts of praise, we had an inkling of what to expect. But nothing could have prepared us for the explosion of talent that awaited us.

Ash and Brad Searle, as always, brought us an evening of laughter, a soundtrack that had the entire audience singing along, and moves that can only be described as sensational!

Of course, what would Manband be without its trio of new members? Nkosinathi Mazwai, Stuart Brown, and Gianluca Gironi may be new to the band, but they are clearly old friends of the stage and were raised on a healthy diet of talent!

By the end of the show, we understood exactly why Manband has such a massive presence at the Kalk Bay Theatre. We will definitely return to see the show again!
While the group itself will tell you that they still have some polishing to do, I think the imperfections are what make this show absolutely perfect!
